Musicians of all levels are welcome to attend and be a part of the Lakewood Marching Band!
 

When is Marching Band practice?

  • Marching Band season is all year, and practice will be held every day after school. First hour is homework, second hour is physical workout, followed by music practice.  2:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. Any changes to this schedule will be announced. 

 

What about football games?

  • Fridays are football game days, and the Marching Band perform in the stands and also on the field at halftime.

  • Attire for games will be announced a day or two prior.

  • The Marching Band will attend some away games, and for these bus transportation will be provided from Lakewood High School to the away school and back again.

 

When are my yearly Marching Band fees due, and how much are they? 

  • Yearly Marching Band fees are due at the start of the school year. (See the Band Director about possible payment plan options.)

    • $150

  • Please make checks for Marching Band fees to Spartan Band Boosters, Inc. or use the FEE/UNIFORMS page on this site.

 

How much is it to rent an instrument?

  • Instrument rental is $60 for the year and $35 for the semester. (See the Band Director about a discount for those receiving free/reduced lunch.)

  • Please make checks for instrument rental to Lakewood High School.
